Studio vs Adventure Boudoir Glasgow: Which to Choose?

Glasgow, Marieke Captures

One of the first questions people ask once they are exploring a boudoir experience is….: studio or adventure? Here's how to think about it.

Studio Boudoir

The studio is completely private, a controlled environment and of course….warm! The studio is location at 117 Brook Street, Glasgow and is perfect if you are feeling quite nervous or stepping into a boudoir experience for the very first time. The studio is perfect if you would to have a bit more predictability in your day. If the idea of being photographed outdoors feels like one variable too many, the studio removes it. It's just you, the space, and the session.

Adventure Boudoir

Adventure boudoir takes the same guided approach and moves it outdoors: woodland, coastline, Scotland is so gorgeous that it doesn't run out of backdrops. Adventure is perfect for anyone who has ‘‘nature’’ as their second name. You aren’t worried about a wee leaf in your hair and instead would love to feel the wind on your skin. If you like to explore Scotland; whether you are here on holiday or because you would like to know your own backyard more; this is perfect for you. Just note that Adventure boudoir is only available between the months of April and October.

So, Which One?

There isn't a wrong answer, but a few questions tend to make it obvious:

  • Do you want complete privacy and control over every variable, or does the idea of being outdoors, somewhere that means something to you, feel exciting rather than exposing?

  • Is there a specific place: a beach, a forest, a view, that you keep picturing?

  • Which surrounding would feel like you can be more connected with your body? In a warm comfortable studio, or when you feel the earth underneath your feet?

  • Are you working within a certain timeframe or can you wait till next summer?

Some people know instantly. Others go back and forth, and that is exactly what the consultation is for. In this conversation we can figure out together, what might be best for you now.

Either Way

Both options include the same guided philosophy. Neither is better then the other, they're just different settings for the same experience. Some people like to start of in the studio, and then plan an Adventure in for next year or vice versa!
