Honestly, the best experience I could have wished for. From the initial consultation all the way through to the final photos, Marieke was incredible. Her communication was fantastic, and I genuinely felt like I'd known her for years; she just has this way of putting you at ease. I opted for the Adventure Session and wow, what an amazing time I had! She thought of everything, down to fluffy socks and my favourite hot drink to keep me warm. Throughout the whole shoot, she made me feel like a goddess and was such an empowering hype woman.
If you're going to do anything for yourself...do this!! I did it as a present to myself for turning 30, and I'm so glad I did, it was such a special experience, and the photos....just wow. Marieke, thank you so much, you are simply magic!

I had a boudoir photoshoot with Marieke from Marieke Captures as a pre-wedding gift for my fiancé, and the entire experience was incredible from start to finish. From the initial consultation through to receiving my final prints, Marieke was so warm, kind, and professional, and she created such a safe and comfortable space.
She really took the time to get to know me and understand what I was looking for. She made me feel completely at ease and confident, and guided me into poses I never thought I would be able to do. The photos were beyond my wildest dreams - I honestly couldn’t believe how I looked. My fiancé was very pleased with them too!
Her studio is beautiful and truly feels like a safe space. She has so many gorgeous accessories and robes available, which made the experience even more special. The final printed products were extremely high quality and absolutely beautiful.
I have never seen myself like this before, and I’m so grateful for the experience. I would highly recommend Marieke to anyone considering a boudoir shoot - it’s empowering, fun, and so worth it.
