The Magic of the Adventure Experience; Outdoor Boudoir
Central Belt of Scotland, Edinburgh, Glasgow
Let's be honest: a boudoir experience in a studio is one thing. But a boudoir experience where you're standing knee-deep in a Scottish river, wind in your hair, laughing because you genuinely cannot believe you're doing this?
That's something else entirely.
Adventure Boudoir is for anyone who want more than beautiful photographs. They want to remember exactly how it felt to be that alive.
There’s something truly magical about embracing Scotland’s wilderness and weaving it into your boudoir experience.
The feel of the grass between your toes, the freedom in the air, the warmth of the sun on your skin (if we’re lucky!), all of it allows you to be completely present in the moment. Just being, connected with nature in its purest form.
Imagine breathtaking locations across Scotland that perfectly complement your unique beauty.
If you'd like to understand more about what an adventure experience feels like from the inside, this post explores exactly that.
Always dreamed of rolling in the sand on a stunning beach? I’ve got you!
Want to stand beneath a cascading waterfall and awaken your wild side? Done!

So What Actually Makes It Different?
A studio experience is a controlled environment: beautiful lighting, a warm space, a client wardrobe on hand. It's intimate and unhurried, and there's a reason so many people love it.
An Adventure Boudoir experience throws most of that out of the window, in the best possible way.
The light changes. The wind moves your hair whether you asked it to or not. The ground beneath your feet is real: grass, rock, water, earth.
There's also something that happens to people when they're outdoors, you are taking every single detail in. You're busy feeling the cold water on your feet or laughing at a rogue sheep in the background to worry about whether your expression is right.
That's where the magic lives.
Is an Adventure Boudoir Experience Right for You?
These sessions aren’t called adventure experiences for nothing!
You love adventure. If spending time in nature is already part of your life, whether it’s hiking, camping in the middle of nowhere, or simply soaking in the beauty around you, this is for you.
You don’t mind getting a little messy! Expect water, a bit of dirt, and the occasional leaf in your hair. It’s all part of the experience.
You’ve done a boudoir experience before and are ready to take things to the next level.
If this would be your first boudoir experience, don't let that put you off, this post on preparing mentally walks you through everything you need to feel ready.

What Does the Day Actually Look Like?
Every Adventure Boudoir experience is different depending on the location, but here's a rough idea of how the day unfolds:
We meet at a starting point, usually somewhere with a good coffee nearby, because priorities. From there, we make our way to the location together, which is part of the experience in itself. Some locations are a short walk; others involve a bit more of a trek. I'll always let you know in advance what to expect.
Once we arrive, we take our time. There's no rushing. We explore the space, find the light, and let you settle into your surroundings before the camera even comes out. By the time we start shooting, most people have completely forgotten to be nervous.
Sessions run for around 3–4 hours in total, which includes travel to the location exact location (from the car to the location), the shoot itself, and plenty of breaks for tea, snacks, and the occasional moment of just standing somewhere breathtaking and taking it all in.
Afterwards, you go home feeling like you've had the best day. Because you have.
Where Can We Go?
The Central Belt of Scotland is extraordinarily varied for a relatively small area. Within an hour of Glasgow and Edinburgh, you have ancient forests near Stirling, dramatic coastal cliffs along the Firth of Forth, hidden waterfalls in the Trossachs, and moorland that stretches as far as you can see.
If you have a dream location in mind, somewhere that means something to you personally, tell me. I love nothing more than finding somewhere new.
And if you have no idea where to start, that's what the consultation is for. Let's talk through it together.
