Why Newborn Photos?

The arrival of a newborn is a chapter of life that passes in the blink of an eye. Those first moments are as delicate as they are fleeting, and as parents, you often find yourself yearning to hit the pause button, to freeze time, and take it all in. I am here to help you do just that.

It's about capturing the raw and tender emotions, the joy and the vulnerability, and the incredible strength that comes with welcoming a new life into your world. Every family has a unique story to tell, and my aim is to be your visual storyteller, ensuring that every emotion is preserved for a lifetime.

The Newborn Experience is all about documenting those tiny fingers and toes, the soft coos and gentle smiles, and even the occasional cries.

All are part of the beautiful tapestry of your baby's first days.

You Are an Amazing Parent

Newborn photography is not just about the little one; it's about you, the parents, too. Your love, your connection, and your joy in becoming parents are all an integral part of the story. I focus on documenting those intimate moments, capturing the way you hold your baby close, the smiles you share, and the tenderness in your eyes.

Home

Your home is where you and your baby are most comfortable. It's where you've lovingly prepared for their arrival, where you've dreamed and planned, and where you're creating the first chapters of your family's story. I believe in capturing these authentic moments in the environment where they matter most.

Unlike traditional studio settings, I don't believe in taking your baby out of their comfort zone in the initial first weeks. Instead, I bring my lens and expertise to your home, creating a personalized and memorable experience for you and your little one.

I understand that those early days can be a whirlwind, and the last thing you need is additional stress. By coming to you, I ensure that you can relax and enjoy the experience without any added complications.

Frequent Asked Questions

  • As soon as possible! I usually recommend booking 1-3 months in advance since my calendar tends to fill up quickly. This way we prevent your preferred date from already being taken.

  • Only if you give me permission to do so.

I will never share images without your permission. This is something that we will discuss before the shoot, but also afterward.

If you’re happy for me to share some of your images, I will ask you specifically for which ones you’re giving consent.

  • By bringing the experience to your home, we have the flexibility to work at your baby's pace, ensuring a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere for everyone involved. 2 hours is usually a good window to take photographs while having plenty of time to take care of the little one in between without feeling any rush.

  • I will only take photos of you feeding your little one if this is something you would like to have documented.
